isnt this just the same as the z530i or whatever its called which can be had on PAYG from CPW (therefore a simfree phone) for £80??
or if there are differences could someone list them so i know which one would make a better gift for my mum

The are different. The W300i has walkman and takes memory cards.

the z530i on CPW site says it takes memory cards and uses disc2phone software for getting music onto the phone which suggests to me that it has the walkman player like the w800i etc

The Z530 also takes memory cards. The main differences between the W300 and the Z530 is that the Z530 lacks Walkman, FM Radio, Flight Mode and a better design (from the outside at least).
