Can we have a status mesage or something jus below the Network Provider's name like we hav on the nokia sets???? |

you can create a note and select that note to be shown in standby.

welcome here. u mean the cell info? it depends on your operator and the fone. k7 has got that option,u should turn it on ( its at the message settings )

u mean i can do that without creating an image??? If yes.. i'd like to know how. Also my fone jus shows the clock on automatic light mode, and on power save, the dipslay is turned off completely.. cant seem to find a way around

I am not talking about the Cell info thats displayed on pressing the side volume keys... something like a message under the network operator's logo. |

go to notes
create a new note
save it
highlight the note
go to options
and select "show note in standby"
