Setting a Palm with k750 / w800 to receive SMS! |

Hi!
I have a LifeDrive (Palm) that I'm trying to set via BlueTooth with my w800 to receive SMS...
First, I must say the GPRS, sending SMS, file transfer, etc. works between them; the only thing I'm missing is receiving SMS in the Palm (from the phone; I suppose it would be the inbox?).
I downloaded the latest profiles from Palm.com; the k750 / w800 isn't listed; tryied with everyone of them and either they don't work or I get a "Out of memory" went (appears) attempting to get them. Also tryied resetting the Palm, giving Dyn. Memory to the app., etc; I think the problem relays in that the Palm isn't correctly connecting to the phone...
In any case; has anyone been able to do this? How? Could you explain? Can you check the init string of the phone settings in the Palm and post it also?
It doesn't have to be EXACTLY the LifeDrive; any model is OK since it's pretty all much the same (BlueTooth enabled, of course)

just use the K700i settings on the palm. they will work just fine.
the SMS reception is not automatic on the palm. you have to click on the send/receive button to check for messages. just make sure you uncheck the option to delete messages on the phone if you want to have copies of the messages there.
one thing i don't like with the palm SMS app is that it doesn't make use of caller ID's (at least my TX doesn't) so unless you memorize the numbers of the senders, it's best to check the phone for the sender's name. |

Hey, thanks! I tried but I get "not enough memory" when doing that...
Can you check you init string (phone setting) and post it please? Also, how does it work...? Do you get the SMS from your inbox, every folder, or just the unread messages ("new")?
