Blanks lines of text/graphics on k750i display? |

Hi,
I appologise if this has already been discussed, I couldn't find it on a search.
So, I've had my k750i for 1 year now and I intend on keeping it for another year so my girlfriend can have my upgrade.
Over the last few weeks/months it has been behaving strangely:
1) The display becomes blank over whichever line is 'highlighted' i.e. when I go to "calls" menu the name selcted will be totally blank then as I scroll down, the blank lines always move to the next selected names.
Also, on the main menu (with the 12 picture icons), where the highlighted icon normally has a white frame around itand becomes enlarged, there is no white, only the icon becomes enlarged.
2) Even when the phone is not on silent profile, no sound will come out when I recieve a call or when the alarm goes off. It only vibrates.
3) When I turn off the phone (using the button) it switches off but the screen remains black but illuminated. At this point it will not swithc on again so I have to remove the battery.
I always seem to notice these happening together so I think its all part of one problem. After removing the battery, it goes back to normal for a day or so before going wrong again.
I would really appreciate your help on this. I am assuming it is out of warranty, being a year old but for a piece of equipement which would've cost approx £250 to buy, I would expect it to last more than 12 months.
Is this a known firmware problem? I haven't change the firmware (R1A044 EU_3_C) since I bought the phone and only started having problems about 6 weeks ago?
Please, Please help fix my phone!!!! |

It sounds like you have a buggy theme. Try using a standard theme. If that doesn't work do a master reset.
Remember to back up your data. |

Thanks for the reply.
I actually updated the firmwire on SEUS and so far so good. It's been a few days now without going nuts, so I'll wait and see.
If it does it again, I'll follow your advice. |
