doesn't really matter, you don't always need to know. Usually you only subscribe to one network. The phone chooses networks automatically.

@rockygali (and maybe others)
I modified my layout.xml (commented "settings" subsection, not deleted).
My phone is an unbranded one.
With this file, on my phone, I now do not have any operator logo displayed!

Maybe you can compare your layout and mine (use Winmerge for instance) and find a clue...

Dwld: http://rapidshare.de/files/24648168/layout.xml.html

And thank you so much Naamloos!

(Damn me, why didn't I find it myself any sooner?!)

@free4real4u

did you have to delete the title small from your theme?
or did the operator logo just vanish without having to do anything?

Hey Guys,

I found two ways to keep the Title Small in the theme but they both give problems with the Time and Date.

Code:
<object name=\"StatusIndication\">

<settings>
<sett name=\"Width\" value=\"176\"/>
<sett name=\"Height\" value=\"205\"/>
<sett name=\"OverlayStyle\" value=\"0\"/>
<sett name=\"YPos\" value=\"-11\"/>
</settings>
</object>

^ With these settings the Time/Date will be almost in the middle of your screen, but the opp name is gone

Code:
<object name=\"StatusIndication\">

<settings>
<sett name=\"OverlayStyle\" value=\"9\"/>
</settings>
</object>

^ And this one will eat 2pix from the Time/Date.

To make it perfect we need to find the OverlayStyle settings. Hopefully its in the FS and not the FLASH.

I didn't change anything inside my themes...
So the layout.xml modification is sufficient for my unbranded phone.

By the way, keep in mind that by doing such a modification, you'll also loose messages concerning the net research!

I don't mind, but some of you may.
I'll see if something can be done about that...

Well, ok, I see your concern now: Most of my themes didn't had an element:

<Title_small_image Source=\"Navigation-Title+AF8-Small.png\"/>

defined in their Theme.xml (.xml you can find inside .thm archives).

I'll thing I'll correct my themes to display a fullscreen background picture and use no small title pic... just as Equalizer theme does!

Is there any way to increase the font size of time and date(specially time) on k750's screen, because specially in sun and daylight it is really hard to read the time (also due to the small screen and and small font size of k750)
p.s.:maybe sth like k800's time (i.e. large faded white font)

Yeeeeaaaahhhhh

Thanks again for discovering the trick, the ultimate hack would be to delete only our operator name in firmware.

is it possible with FAR Manager, when typing an SMS, that the countdown of the characters that is left starts from the beginning in stead of when you have only 20 spaces left?
