I was taking photos today with my friend and some how the phone sometimes kept switching itself off, we took about 30 photos in total. What caused this and why?

hmmm...i've accidently pressed the power button on the top of my v600i before, may be this, or may be a bug in your firmware - check firmware and post back (i'll check against mine) its right, star, left, left, star, left, star to get into service menu, then its the first on the list.

I don't really want to take the hassle of sending it off and everything. Can I flash it myself?
