Changing start up & shut down animations for w800i? |

I have used Far plugin to access the internal files of my W800i and changed my menu icons but was wondering whether this can be used to change the start up and shut down animations of the W800i. Any information would be good.

Indeed you can do this!
tpapresetsystemsettings contains at least two files (when using a software-branded phone) or four files, when using a generic SE phone.
SHUTDOWN_IMAGE_SEMC
SPLASH
STARTUP_IMAGE_SEMC
STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.mid (on W800i it's .mp3)
startup and shutdown are gif-files without extension, splash is png-file without extension.
in my E+ (KPN) branded K750i the startup and shutdown are placed in
tpapresetcustomimage
as gif-files with extension.
in my D750i (T-Mobile branded) are the startup and shutdown animations placed in
tpauserimage
as gif-files with extension.
you can exchange these files by replacing them with your ownfiles.
Just replace in the suitable folder your own files and your phone will use the new ones.
Pay attention on the original name and if it uses an extension or not.
here are some startups, and shutdowns taken from these phones:
D750i, K750i E-Plus, K750i generic, W800i generic

The files are partly renamed but are original files.
Just right-click and choose save target as ...
or create your own animations with dimension 176*220 as gif-animation.

At the moment i have this menu with a black background 
I was wondered whether anyone could make me start up and shut down SE with this orange neon look and black background. As i do not have the talent to do this. Just want the standard SE start up and shut down but instead of green/white etc have it in orange neon.
Would this be possible to do?
Looking at the orginal examples you posted up I decided I think the K750 ones would look best in the orange neon.

the start up can be changed anyway, can't it...just copy onto the phone and then change it in settings...
