Is there a site that will check with the different networks, O2 specifically, how signal for that network will be in my area? I have Virgin at the moment and the signal is good, but I think that just because I have a k750 as most people even with the same network as me come to my house or my area and have nout for signal. I know that car phone warehouse do this, but i'm not sure how reliable it is.

Thanks

Well I have a K750 on Virgin Mobile right and I usually get a randomness of perfect full signal (in most places) and very little signal (in some places) in my area - near and at my house. Others with either a different or the same network are completely dead in my area. My mum for example, she has Virgin Mobile too, but has to go out the village to get a signal, its the same with anyone else with Virgin, Orange, Vodafone, O2 etc. So I just thought that it was due to my nice expensive (well I did buy it for £250 ) K750 that because it was a special and quite a classy phone (if you know what I mean), it had some extra booster uber duber signal thing . And my village is quite a new village and is not just radomly placed or anything, its a very big village not very far from a well known and big town in Somerset South West England called Taunton. Where the famous Somerset Cricket Team play lol.

thats weird, cos nokia uses boosters in their mobile, se has real time aerials, so a nokia should have better signal, then se, actually thats my experience when i tested different divices on the same nettwork.

Well my Dad has a Nokia, can't remember which model but a resonably new model though and if he's lucky he'll het one or two bars. Whereas I with my K750 get basically full signal in this signal killing dead area. I must admit the signal boosted like crazy upwards after I installed the R1N035 firmware.

Forgot to mention, my Dad has a Nokia with O2, my Mum has a Samsung with Virgin and my sister has a Motorola with Orange. Still I rule with my Sony Ericsson and Virgin, despite my Mum having the same network, it seems that the actual phone model and its firmware are possibly the reason.
