my gf has a w810i on t-mobile. On the main screen it has a red phone with a red arrow above it showing. Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it please as its really bugging her and the manual shows all sorts of symbols but not this one.

cheers

i think that is the Divert ON
You can deactivate it in Menu>Settings>Calls>Divert Calls>Deactivate all

although maybe she intended to divert her calls, ask her first

or maybe it's how spikeyjac said,don't know if i can't see it:D

if it's just a red arrow looping back on itself then .... that's a missed call
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

cheers people, that was the symbol masseur

it was the divert calls thing, i cancelled all diverts, then re-set up divert to answerphone if busy, out of coverage etc and the symbol has gone, so problem solved
