Help unlocking Nokia 6280 |

hello, a friend of mine has a nokia 6280 locked on 3. i read a month or two ago that 6280 could not be unlocked at that point but it has been some time since then. does anyone know if it can be unlocked and if so can it be remotely? please help |

Nope cant be done remotely, only people who can do its is 3 themselves, and thats only if your the original contract holder and are willing to either pay £15 at the end of contract or something daft like £120 mid contract.
Some people have had success by buying a new 3pay sim topping up and ringing up aying there a 3pay customer but i cant confirm this .

thanks pal,only problem is that the phone was bought from italy and im in romania. think the only solution is to sell it to someone who is moving to italy  ) thanks anyway, appreciate it .btw how much is it worth being locked on 3 and all? thx

tom someone on 3 in italy a fair bit, to someone on a diff network that cant use it... not much!!

If its like new fully boxed etc i would say £100-120 ish maybe?

ok thanks, so in her case it's probably 70-80 pounds,i'll tell her how is the situation,after all, it's up to her. till then she has a nokia mp3 player )
