I’ve been thinking of a way to air our needs to SE of the possible features we would want to be included in future SE phones. I think this thread would be a great help in doing so.

So please post all the features you’ll like to see in future SE phones and also at least those you wouldn’t want removed.
Lets help SE produce phones to our needs.

For me:

>>
I’ll like to see a security feature such as the one in Samsung phones; were you’ll get to protect your folders, messages, pictures etc and also screen lock would be great.

>>
With connecting the phone with usb, I prefer the k750/w800 style were you’ll get to receive calls and send text messages while charging your phone and transferring files at the same time. I really don’t know why for some reason or the other they changed this with w810

I think having an option to password-protect the screen is excellent. I didnt know Motorola had this option on their phones, and I'm now seriously thinking of switching (i already had thoughts on doing so, this just gives me more reason to get a Motorola).

@ Silver K750i:

No not keypad lock. i mean a screen lock with password enabled.
I believe if the password to the folders are optional, it would be suitable for people like you who finds it annoying to enter password everytime you try accessing a folder and also suitable for those who would want to keep their files secure.

THIS MAY SOUND STUPID TO MOST AND REASONABLE TO SOME AND CHILDLISH THOUGHT TO OTHERS.
I wish SE coould design a phone with a Holographic projector . Which could be used @ night or any dark area for viewing movies uploaded on the phone or TV programmes any where anytime if possible.

It may not serve only that purpose. It could serve a whole lots of other funtions.

Please give it a rethink before criticising. Think of its positive effect on human.

SE Designed one it K phone 700 or 750i with a light behind the phone whenever you want to snap a picture it glows. Imagine if such is placed above the screen to serve as a projector.

Hey guys don't feel bad I have wild Ideas.

Thanks.

WANT:
- An all-in-one phone with autofocus, lens cover, or at least a decent media player, and good video.
- Good design (unlike the K800)
- Nice size and build quality !

i want something that isnt basically exactly the same as the previous one with a different design - something original, but stop with the video junk - mobile phones are great for viewing video but recording video is frankly just a waste of time

maybe an affordable smartphone that hasnt been designed by nokia would be nice
Mobile working solution:
Acer Aspire Gemstone Blue 6920G + DVB-T ExpressCard + Merlin XU870 + 3 5GB/mo Mobile Broadband
HTC TyTN II + T-Mo Flext 25 W'n'W

thats a good point. but how can be called se design? they offer candy bar, clamshall and some "modified" flip fones. a "classical" flip fone would be interesting, smaller like p9, big screen and the keypad in the inner side of the flip.

I'm still waiting for multi-band SE phone: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 + 3G. It should be small phone with elegant design and powerful battery like T68i

I would like to see the function where I can insert my contact's number from the phonebook to the write message screen. This feature is in Nokia phones. I hope this can also be updated in the firmware for SE K750i

I expect from Sony Ericsson.....

I would like to have the ability to watch TV on my SE without having to pay the phenomenal GPRS / Edge / 3G rates charged by the service provider.

Or Sony could set up a few aerials and stuff then run their own 3G network with unkimited acess for £ 20 a month or something as Orange, Vodafone Hutchinsons etc etc charge way too much for access.

This would be handy for connecting your laptop via mobile phone wherever you are or watching television and many many more reasons.

Also:-

SE should develop this ( http://www.computerandvideoga[....]article.php?id=120958&skip=yes ) for the Phones. If you look at this page you'll notice it is a TV receiver designed around devices that accept pro duo memory cards. This little gadget slips into the pro duo slot and wham TV. As far as i can gather this is being developed for the Sont PSP so maybe a software download for the phones will also work once developed?

your thoughts....
