HOW TO increase the message storing capacity of j300i |

hi friends am havin a small cute j300i but da problem i can only store 70 sms s in my phone
am getting 10-15 useful messages daily
pc is a nono
so how can i increase da message storage capacity

u can store some on the sim card aswell, the fone sms capacity cannot be increased

there is a trick that been around for a while (snice K700 I think) whereby you save the message as a template and in templates you can have as many as you like, up to the memory capacity of the phone I guess
worth a try anyway!

I was about to say what masseur just said..it should work on the j300i.
Why dont you try it?

i already tried tat
but when da total messages reach 70 including da templates it shows 95%memory is full
also der is a limit to store in da sim card
is der coz other way

remember that J300 is a bottom end phnoe and only has 12mb memory to start with so depending on what else you have on there, you're going to be limited by other things such as messages

It seems that the memory is limited for the message storage part. This means that the a certain amount of memory is reserved for ALL sms/text messages which you cannot exceed.
One alternative would be to get a higher capicity sim card..

i googled abt dis n i find a way its abt changing firmware
by tat u can reserve more memory to dis phone
am stickin to dis phone coz am am se fan n also camera phones r banned in our campus
wil tat firmware upgrad void my warranty

if it is done from davinci team or alike, it will ( but i doubt whether you will be able to buy the credits)
you can always go to  shop to get it done.
edit : btw go to sleep, it is 0530 in the morning.

Sej210i has 200+message storing capacity
please correct if am wrong
