 | What version of MobilePhoneMonitor works with Bluetooth ?? The Sony/Ericsson website shows that MobilePhoneMonitor_R2A04_english.exe only supports Data Cable DRS-10/11 or Infrared (IR) as a pre-requisite. Am I to assume that it also supports Bluetooth ?? |

 | That's the same version i got, and BT works just find (coz the adapter creates virtual com ports for other apps to use, the app wouldn't know they're taking over BT)

 | gowin, how did you do it? I have the Billionton BT USB dongle (USBBT02-N) and have paired it with my T68m(i). I managed to make Mobile Agent work but the SE apps doesn't seem to work with the virtual COM ports. |

 | Sorry for not posting in this thread for a few days.
I have been using Mobile Phone Monitor successfully for a few days now. I simply downloaded the version which is currently posted on Sony/Ericsson Website.

I have been testing two different BT Dongles: Belkin and EPoX. While both dongles definetely connect, the EPoX seems much more reliable. The Belkin Dongle using Tecom Drivers is flaky at best. Sometimes, it forces me to turn my phone off/on before it will establish a good connection. This is not only true with SE apps, but others as well. I have not had this problem with the EPoX, which was priced considerably less than the Belkin.

One problem I am having at the moment in XP, is an app/driver keeps crashing. It appears to be a SE module, and will crash for with either dongle. The crash does not stop connections, but is quite irritating. I have done a fresh install of XP to make sure there are no other 3rd party apps conflicting, but that has not helped. The module which crashes is EPMWorker. I will send SE a message to let them know that this is happening.

Personally, I would highly recommend the EPoX Dongle to anyone who is considering a BT Dongle in the near future. And again, it works with all SE apps as well as others like Mobile Agent, which does not use Mobile Phone Monitor.

 | @GOwin, can you post the step by step procedure here? I still can't make it work with Billionton's USB dongle. |

 | EPMWorker did not crash on my Windows XP Pro, ever, on both MSI bluetooth USB and Anycom BT CF-card.

 | I believe the crash of Worker is due to the way I have the status icon for MPM set. If you have it to never show the status icon, it will never crash. |

Since maybe GOWin is too busy to answer your query, let me try. I also have a Billionton USB Dongle/T68i setup. If you can make a connection from your PC to your phone via BT, then all you need to do is to go to your Windows Control Panel (switch to classic view if you are in XP) and open Phone Monitor Options. Go to the COM Ports tab and click on the matching (virtual) Com port that your BT connection is on. Click on enable and then try synching.

 | How about doing a full system restore to the time and date when you were able to get it working? It know this could be a little too for that but it could help the next time around. I an assuming of course that your OS has that feature.
