don't know about you but that little rubber clip-in thing that hides the power adaptor really annoys me, never sits in place right and always has a bit popping out as if it has warped out of shape

grrrr

just my grumble for today!

hmmm....from what i've heard, and seen on many of the phones, its very annoying. seems like se didn't use good enough quality/hard enough rubber.

an alternative would be to have it replaced every few months at your nearest SE servicepoint. those plugs are dirt-cheap, anyway.

I liked the rubbery thing on my K700. Sure it was distorted, but you get used to it. The phone looks naked if you cut it off.

I took out that rubber plug when I got tired of having to take it to the SE center and get it replaced (did it twice in 6 months and that was it). those i know who owned an S700 do the same thing. my repulsion of rubber parts started when I had a nokia n-gage QD (that needed replacing of the rubber ring every quarter as well)

i havent heard anything from w550/w600 and w900 owners though. in the 3 months i had a w550 it seemed OK,

hence why i practically never take out the MSD in my w810 unless i update the firmware. which leads me to my next question (sorry about the cross-post, i didn't want to go off-topic)
