Nokia 6630 USB Cable extension possible? |
stayback Joined: Apr 24, 2006 Posts: 150 From: Pearl city PM |
I have a Nokia 6630. I connect it to my PC via USB Cable to use Internet. There is no proper reception of Airtel on my PC Desktop, it is in a corner of my room. I cannot move it to other place.
My question is Can we extend the USB Cable??? So that I can keep my phone near the window and connect it to the pc.

Even i've got a 6630.. But i don think there is any way to extend the cable provided with the set.. Ur best bet i think would be to buy a third party cable made specifically for this phone.. Or better yet.. Y not take a bluetooth dongle? |

I just did a search on ebay.in for 'usb cable extender' and found 3 results.. I think any one of those will do the job.. Its says they are 1.2m in length.. @stayback.. Try it for yourself..
Although i still feel bluetooth will be the best for u.. But of course.. Thats entirely my opinion.. |

If his 6630 is running on WCDMA, BT wont support that kind of speed....
whereas USB will....

Thanks all for giving me advises........
Well Bluetooth sold in india is not original and not that good... The speed is very slow. So best is USB cable.
Adding extension to USB cable, will drop any speed??? or performance?
