When I try to voice dial, either when using magic word or holding the button on the handsfree, I can hear no feedback (ie. beep and playing back what I said) through the ear phones. Is there something I am missing here?
Any help appreciated.

I suppose you've got the T68m/i ?
My T68i works the same way too...no feedback beep but voicecommands do still function.
In this thread some people claims that the beep once was there:

I find it strange that SE removed that since R520!?!

Actually, in a *VERY* quiet environment I can only just about hear the beep. There's no problems when people are calling me and with voice answering etc. Just using magic word and voice dialling as I can't hear any feedback through the headphones.
My phone is a straight T68i sw ver R2E006 (going to get it upgraded hopefully) |

Well, I couldnt hear the beep...but I'm probably half deaf after listening too much to Linkin Park on HPM-10 
Huuh, watch out with the updates!!
In R5D007 which I have there is no way to get out of the HPM-10 playlist and into the menues for wapping, smsing etc while listening to music.
They've taken away that feature since R2x and it sucks haard *arghh*
If I were you I'd settle with R2E for that reason... |
