k700i - worth 50quid as backup phone? |

hi,
i have been offered a k700i by someone for £50 i don't know what it comes with etc. would come with charger etc. think it's locked to orange at the moment. i told him i might be interested just gotta work out whether theres any point. he said £50 because he thought that seeing as it was £120 new.
any thoughts?

i recommend nokia 1100 as a back up phone, u dont really need al the k700i features if its just for backup

ok...i wont bother atall then...i've got me old se t200 still so that's what i'd use if my v600i stopped working...and then again...hopefully getting a treo...so i don't really need 3 phones on the go at the same time do i :S

If the k7 is locked, i would pay less then 50.

Try for £35 - £40, saying you'll have to pay £10 to get it unlocked, he might go for it!
There's nothing wrong with having a more capable backup phone, provided you can afford it! It could be useful for if you're going somewhere (e.g. out drinking, playing sports, etc.) where's theres a good risk of the phone getting damaged, dropped, lost, stolen. Just don't decide that everything's risky and end up leaving you main phone at home most of the time!
