Hi,

It would seem that I have accidently deleted a much needed mobile number of a friend and since there is no way of me getting it back via another person or anything, I was hoping that some knid soul on here would know of a way, program or something I can do etc to find this number via a left over file or something. I have a K750, I hear police can look through your phone and find things that have been deleted in crime cases, but obviously I don't think I want to actually ask the police to help me find a number, but maybe someone knows how its done or something.

Anyway thanks absolutely loads for any help, I will cry with joy to get this number back somehow!

Thanks

Its alright I've got it back. What I did was create a new text message, didn't write anything and then went to choose contacts to send to, the phone remembers who you send to most often and have sent to recently, I found this contact who's number I lost and click on it, I exited all this and saved as a draft. Went to drafts, looked at message details and it displayed the number, despite it now no longer being in my phone book.

That's a really useful tip. Another reason to get SE.
