help with keypad number 8 |

hello sir/maam
I own P910i for almost a year now.
my problem just started last to weeks ago.
well its not frequent but it still bugs me maybe 5 out of 10.
when you txt, and you press number 8 to write letter TUV, instead of that letters you get "capitalize" like your pressing *keypad to capitalize but your pressing keypad 8.
maybe software problem? Does somebody here had a problem like that? what did you do?
thanks |

It's probably a problem with the keypad flip itself, I had a P900 with a flip keypad that displayed a '3' when 1 was pressed, a 6 when 4 was pressed, etc.
A new flip, or taking that one apart and cleaning it should do it. :

Not sure where else apart from Ebay you can get spare flips, try putting an ad here on Esato in the 'accessories wanted' section and see if anyone has one spare here.
Btw, put a 'ph' in the title of the thread, there are a lot of philipine traders here, one might be able to help you out
Not sure if the keypads are the same, I think so but perhaps someone else can confirm this for me
