I cant find any mention of either of these new headsets anywhere on Esato so thought I would post the info:
HPM-85
This is the ultimate stereo portable handsfree solution if you want to enjoy high-quality music at home or when out and about. Every detail in this timeless, classic design is geared towards an exceptional sound experience. High-energy neodymium magnet speakers and 30 mm diameter driver units are positioned perfectly to bring a deep bass sound and lower distortion to your ears. The HPM-85 is also outstandingly comfortable with a molded headband and comfortable ear cushions, which are reversible for single ear monitoring. A 3.5 mm plug allows you to switch between different music devices and the practical and stylish remote control lets you keep your phone in your pocket while you handle calls and enjoy an outstanding music experience.
Outstanding Stereo Sound - powerful bass and treble make these the ultimate headphones for listening to music on your mobile phone.
Comfort - lightweight design and a moulded headband distribute the weight, while padded ear cups keep the speakers at exactly the right distance from your ear.
A 3.5 mm plug - you can detach the ear phones from your phone and replace them with something different using the 3.5 mm jack
Remote Control - play and pause the music, skip tracks and change the volume while keeping your phone in your pocket.
Design - a classic metallic finish, with black details, and a folding design make for good looks and practicality.
HPM-65
Like all other Sony Ericsson portable handsfree solutions, the WalkmanŽ-branded HPM-65 was designed to deliver the best possible sound for both voice and music. With sporty ear hooks fitting around your ears to give a stable fit, the HPM-65 is the perfect handsfree for getting on with your active lifestyle. The ear buds rest in your ears and deliver music with a pleasant balance between treble and bass. A 3.5 mm plug allows you to switch between earphones, giving you freedom to change headphones. The attractive white and gray finish and the flexible ear hooks really exemplify the perfect balance between sporty design, small size, and clear sound you can find in the HPM-65.
Outstanding stereo sound - the in-ear fit helps to deliver a pleasant balance of treble and bass.
Stable fit - slim and flexible ear hooks help keep the handsfree in your ears - especially while you're on the move.
A 3.5 mm plug - allows you to swap earphones but stay plugged into the phone if you want a different way to listen to your music.
Design - discreet dark grey with energetic pearl white contrast for an attractive style, and the lightweight design is comfortable to wear all day.

does the HPM-85's connector terminate with fastport or is it like the HPM-70 (short cable ending in regular 3.5 connected to a fastport adapter with the mic)

sorry, let me rephrase my question-
does the hpm-85 terminate with a standard 3.5 plug (like regular headphones) or does it plug into an adapter that connects to the phone via fastport?
(or either i am not reading thoroughly or my english comprehension skills are wanting? ) |
