Its almost been a month now since i bought my 800i. i often transfer files onto my mobile from the PC using the usb cable that came with the phone. the other day i took my mobile to a friend's place to transfer some files from his PC. and i did. but soon after, i noticed my 800i's screen flicker. it doesnt stay that way all along but happens most when i'm using the Walkman feature or browsing pictures. and now my screen has become incredibly bright even though i have set the brightness level to the lowest(50%).

when i recollected, i recall my friend's PC monitor was also flickering (it had low refresh rates). and i had placed my mobile next to the monitor. i came across a post here in esato that makes me think that the culprit might be the PC monitor. so guys. is there a possibility???

i still have 11 months until the warranty expires. i can take it to the service center. but i love my w800i so much that i can't even stand a min away from HER(i refer to her as a girl). so if u guys have a remedy, which i could apply, then do reply. THANX a TON!

The only time I've seen the screen flicker on my w800 is during a transfer from phone memory to P.C. via USB cable. Sometimes this results in the phone resetting. I believe this is a bug with the last couple of firmwares. But the screen never flickers any other time. I'd turn it off, remove the battery and turn it on again. If the problem is still there you could try a master reset - but I doubt it will do anything. So, get it repaired.

So you just gave HER to them???
Don't you feel uneasy knowing that someone else is pushing HER buttons, touching HER screen, whispering into HER earpiece?
After she's back she'll never bee the same with you.
Beleive me, I know....

...are we still talking about phones?...
