Cannot change K750i brightness |
silverbyte Joined: Jun 05, 2006 Posts: 5 PM |
My firmware is R1CA021 125955_HONG_KONG_CL
Even after going into settings>display>brightness, there is not perceptible increase/decrease in brightness when I move the bars. Is the k750i brightness fixed?
I'm having trouble reading the display in sunlight.

I see the options... I am even able to choose the brightness bars up and down.
But there is no change in the ACTUAL brightness. It appears the same regardless of brightness being at 100 % or 50 %.
somebody please help.
Is this a firmware problem?

AFAIK the firmware I'm using is the latest.
I recently got my phone so I'm at a loss what to do.
I used the official update service. |

I recently went to buy a k750 for ma friend. the k750 had a horrible display. the 100% brightness on the k750 had lesser brightness compared to my w800 kept at 60%. i had the phone taken back immideatly and it turned out to be a faulty one. Pls take it back. Its faulty. its not the firmware issue. |

yep, normal operation it will change brighter or duller when you change the bars - you have a faulty set...
