see,, i used to use ip and port also without which no apn use to work on my 6600 and 6630!!!
what i m talking of is abt 3-4 mths back !! as both the cell phones are not with me from then ans dats why i post very less out here!
so no scope of ay experiments also !! 
GSNL PEOPLE MAY have applied this variation when they upgraded thier netwok over here !! that is when they closed their big hole!!

I'm 4m Orissa.. I hav Nokia 6670 & BSNL pre-paid Sim.. Pls Help Me out 2 activate & use free GPRS.. I had sent D msg GPRS E to 3733 many times.. Only a confiramtion msg comes along.. but no activation till now!! Pls Help Me Out..!! |

im frm jammu me n my neighbour both use bsnl gprs for surfing on pc .........
his download speed goes to 7kbs to 13 kbs with surfing,but mine only 5kbs to 6kbs if im not surfing just downloading....
n he using n72 and i use k750i.........is this due to mobile or is something wrong with my setting n we both use mozile |

im using bsnl 199gprs plan.....on my 100plan connection(gov. emply)/////////////
i hardly make 2 0r 3 calls from my 100 plan as i m using airtel for calls......
i get this100 plan only for using gprs....so my one month package is Rs.299(100plan + 199 gprs)......but yesterday i check my 15 days bill by sms....its Rs. 670 .....
about my surfing and downloading.........
i surf alot both in mobile and pc .........n i download(excluding surfing ) about 30 to 40 mb from mobile and over 300mb from my pc...............
plzzz clear me about the charges of 199gprs .............. |

what i see from abv is,,,
THOSE DUMBS must hav activated 50 rs plan on ur postpaid instaed of 199 plan and accordingly charging u!
i hav seen this case with some others also!
BTW how u activated that?
THESE MORONS CAN DO ANYTHING, JUST LIKE ANYTHING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO THIER SERVICES !

If yr not using proxy.. To access the internet.. Then u've subscribed.. To the 199plan.. No worry.. Bout than n bsnl has started charging for roaming on gprs.. If u r out of station yr state n u use gprs yr charged  for all the data.. Irrespective of the plan chosen

Freeworld4u is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.As i've already posted in your forum "bsnl 199 plan" goto the place from where you activated it,and ask for a form if there is one to DEACTIVATE it.Next month,Go there and ask for 199 plan GPRS form.Fill it up and check,if written,whether it's 199 plan one.After submitting it,TELL them to activate the 199 again(all the memory of the people sitting in BSNL's shop or Customer centre drains through there earholes within 1 second garenteed)After it's activated,check your balance after 1 or 2 days after surfing 3to6 pages.If it is ascending above 299 without you calling any no.then call cc and if they don't provide you help,then follow the steps again.
