Does anybody know if it is possible to view the picture you just have taken with a MCA-10 without leaving the camera menu?
(View picture option only copies the picture to my pics, but shouldn't it also let you see the pic simultaneously?) |

I don't know much about the cam, haven't got a chance to try it for real yet.
But it can't be difficult to add a \"preview\" option in later SW.

The phone always asks me if i would like to view the picture after i've taken one, but when i click "yes" it only copies it to my pictures on the phone. Does that make my cam a MCA-10, or MCA-10 View? |

yeh u have the MCA-10 view - but it will only do this option if plugged into a T68m - if plugged into a T68i it copies the picture to your handset |

Hmm, anybody else interested in making a list of issues we would like to have featured in future sw releases?
Maybe post a new topic on this subject? Or search for an existing one.

i believe that the term "view" pertains to the fact that you can use a t68i's (or t68m converted to t68i) screen/lcd as the viewfinder.
i doubt that such would work with other phones.
the plain old mca-10 does utilize the LCD as a viewfinder. |

I'm suspecting that my cam is defect, tried a similar cam yesterday, and the pics i took with it looked drastically different.
But the problem is that i bought my phone and cam in indonesia (i live in sweden). So do i have any kind of warranty that can be used from here, or do i have to buy a new cam?

As long as it was a brand new SE Cam I dont see why you wouldn't be covered under warranty. Call SE and see what they say. GL.

You have the view function on your T39 too, with limited picture size.
I copied the following text from the SE web page.
"MCA-10 View is so small and light that you can carry it in your pocket. It weighs only 25 grams. And it is easy to use to. Connect the camera to the phone. Take a picture. Check the picture in the display. And then send the picture to the e-mail address of your choice. That’s it. In roughly one minute, the picture will be on your friends PC (dependent on file size).
The MCA-10 View can be used with the R520m, T39m (limited picture size), T65, T68 and T68i."
