Matters as this one have been discussed a BILION times... I think the answer is even on the FAQ of the site.
But, since you are new, you might not know these obvious things...
So, here's the answer.
NO, you cannot disable the clock screensaver. It is made to make standby time last longer. The screensaver you choose only appears for a short time and then the screen goes to the clock-mode.
