Right,

i'm looking for a new electric shaver but i don't know where to start, so i thought i'd see if any of you use an Electric Shaver at the moment, and if you'd recommend it. Or even if you know of one i should get.

I need a close shave and my skin is kinda sensitive

thanks

um,I have 2 electric shavers, one ofthose mach 3 turbo extra super extreme power (added a few bits to the end there) but I asume you mean the other kind?

My other one is a braun 5550, its a faily old model but is also an excelent shaver, it has great battery life (holds life for over a month with no used) and can probally last 3 weeks with a shave a day. It also gives a very close shave, one which would easily be comparable to a mach 3 I think. It also doenst irritate me, but i dont know if I have sensitive skin
Check out my sales

I've only ever used electric shavers in 16 years of shaving.

I highly recommend Philishave from Philips. Check out 'Coolskin' if you have sensitive skin.

Remmington are useless. Tries to rip the whiskers off ya face!

About 3 months back I bought one of them Scherna shavers. I have never used an electric shaver before, but due to the good reviews I bought one. There was a 28 day Guarantee with it, saying they guarantee a better shave or get a full refund. I can safely say, it was back with them within the 28 days, it was crap as I had to go over it with my blade after.

My one is darker than that, Like a black/chrome style. Its all metal too. Just used it, seems really nice. Close cut and it was a smooth shave. Comes with a cleaning sytem too.

I used an electric shaver for a year or so, but I didn't think the shave was close enough. I do however second 'carkitter' that Philishave is very (for an electric shaver).

I've been using a shaving brush and shaving cream with various Gillettes for ages, and it works brilliantly. I have however recently bought a cut-throat razor from Geo F. Trumper in Curzon Street, so I'm now gathering courage to actually use it... [addsig]
