K750i sent for repair. but it still doesnt work! |

I sent my K750i for repair to ACR Logistics in the UK.
It had numerous faults/problems. Most were fixed apart from the major problem; It wouldnt take photos.
I got it back and the camera worked for about an hour, then the fault came back. After 'taking' the photo, the phone returns to the standby screen and doesnt save the picture. It takes videos fine, but as we know they are crap quality. I'm guessing its a firmware problem? Or is it the hardware that has been changed? I'm guessing they updated my phones firmware to the latest version when i sent it.
Also, the phone seems to have developed other problems in displaying themes that worked before. One of the ones which now has a bug is the Wave one which comes with the phone.
I'm going to ring them tomorrow, but my phone ran out of warranty on 27th May, but surely as i filed the problem before that and it hasnt been recitfied i can still get it repaired?

That happened to mine every now and then (the non-saving of photos). After trying everything I could think of I re-flashed via SEUS, and did a master reset, reformatted my mstick and all seems to be working now. |

i tried all of that before sending my phone back, and im guessing they did all of that when i sent it back too, and it doesnt make a difference whether the meme card is in or not
ive now seen some other threads and it appears that this could be a manufacturing problem. i hope they dont get arsy and refuse to fix it, cos i have no camera!
and when i use the camera the auto focus clicks, but then i hear another click as it goes back to the standby screen. i dunno if it does this when it used to work, not sure

i asked them about changing the phone and apparently they have to have checked the phone twice and sent it back twice before you can get a new phone.
So annoying because i cant see what else they are going to do from what they did the first time, plus im going on holiday so will have to wait til after that to send it the second time. |

My W810i displays the not saving photos symptom every now and then. It'll just refuse to save pictures of certain things, going straight back to the main screen. If I then take a picture or two of something else, then go back, it usually works again. It's all very odd. |

hmmmm...i have a non-saving problem on my v600i of videos....dunno whether this will help...its were i finish taking the video by closing the shutter, and then realising i should have done that after i had pressed the picture button again lol!
