I think you guys won't agree but i think the minimum would be:
That it could call, send + receive sms, good battery life.
Everything else is just add-ons, if i can call it like that. |

I dont make many phone calls. I use my phone for wap, texting and taking pictures mainly.

atm as long as it makes and receives calls and can send and receive texts im happy.
must have a colour screen though... and be easy to use
hence why im using a nokia 8910i atm!

these days, 3.2mp, wifi, tft high quality screen (like a sharp), bluetooth, 3G, touch screen, support for skinning.
Basically give me a P990 with a removable keyboard, make it slimmer, white, and with a better camera.

Meh atm I'm not worried. Used my 8850 til last week, now using an R310s.

Right now I require 3G, expandandable memory,  , good camera(2mp upwards) and the ability to customise the phone to my hearts content...I was going to go for the K800 but I might as well wait for the second coming before seeing in South Africa so I've settled for the N70. |

erm...texting + wap! - a colour screen would be a very welcome addition, but everything else is extras...that i'd love to have, but aren't absolutely necessary - e.g. the camera is good to take movies quickly of people doing stupid things in my v600i, i don't use it much other than quick pics when i can't be bothered to find my a330/don't have it with me - also the a330 doesn't have sound with movies so thats why v600i better

Good batt, big display, comforteable keypad, gprs and/or umts and support of a website, where i can turn for support.
