I had a chat with Ericsson's Vice President for Enterprise in Asia-Pacific and he told me that the reason why the current phones did not come with MMS is because of lack of operator support. But SonyEricsson in Singapore is already doing a trial with SingTel mobile for the T68, using the original T68 with the original MMS software it was intended for. I am pushing to get my phone upgraded though my operator does not support MMS yet so that I can post pictures on this site. I do believe that there is a T68i though as reported by CNet Asia. |

come on
we were promised to get mms with t68,
and i dont think ericsson is that stupid to make a bad reputation after that huge seccess.... also one of thing that made t68 very popular cuz we all know it will come with mms ..
so t68i,u,m , whatever , i think they r only names for different markets...

I´m starting to have a bad feeling about this! I spoke to a Ericsson sales guy here in Portugal and he said the same thing to me, that theres going to be a T68i and no upgrade for T68! After that I already saw a lot of sites that say that the upgrade is for sure but now MKK was told the same thing from a Ericsson guy! I hope THEY´RE the ones uninformed!

Well Sony-Ericsson support center wrote me that MMS software will be released at the end of february.
So at least I can upgrade my phone. If not trought software upgrade then harware. |

OKEY GUYS! That's enough! We all bought the T68 and they said it will support MMS+++. So can't you just wait and see??? The networks have to support MMS, so we just have to wait! When the network is ready og tested, Ericsson will of coarse provide softwareupgrade for our phones FOR FREE. I think it's to much rumours and speculations! Be patient! |

well, u is next to i on the keyboard, just a wrong type I guess... and what's T68i, as it seems to me, no-one knows that...
My guess is that it's an I-mode version of the T68 and that my require other hardware, and I-mode wasn't in the specifications when you bought the phone so you can't expect it to be I-mode compatible, okey? |
