Hi i just got a SEW810i on voda and got it unlocked, so as it can put my O2 sim card in it. but when i get the o2 wap settings sent to my phone they don't work. i think it may because of the voda live software onit, but i'm not sure.

i was just wondering if anybody person had any advice or tips on what i should do??

many thanks

Although you have had the phone unlocked you have not had it de-branded, because it is vodafone branded the settings are locked to the phone and you cannot change them, you'll need to de-brand it before you can use other networks settings.

Weird one that, You should be able to store more access points. When I got mine it had o2, vodafone, 3g and t mobile settings all stored in internet settings. Even though mine is locked to o2 UK.

Have you tried editing your own settings on the phone?

Yes your phone was locked to O2 but it wasn't branded by o2 like vodafone do to their handsets. Network locks and network branding are two different things.
