recently in safari the RSS logo has been appearing on many pages, but I don't actually know what a rss feed is or does, I click it and it just seems to go to a differnt view?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and in a nutshell, it's used is for download the summary of a webpage's content. i.e. If you took the esato RSS feed, you would see a drop down menu in your browser of the new stories 'Sony Ericsson W950i - Potentially availible'

It's actually really good for things like the news etc.

I don't know how to add them in Opera however, only Firefox, so I suggest going to the FAQ page on their website.
