Ok, i'm on o2 pay and go, and i'm getting a genie sim tomorrow. What i want to know is, can i move my current number across to my genie sim? I know it can be done with a contract, but can it be done with pay and go?

i tried exactly the same. but actually you dont need a genie sim card at all. if you ring them up and ask them to change your tariff on your existing sim card for you they'll do it. as with changing a number there is a changeover date (for me was a bout 2 days later and in the middle of the night) so no problems at all
hope this helped, mike [addsig]

Yeah definately if you're pay and go. Theres a couple of tarriffs lee, if you top up a tenner a month, you get 300 free texts, which is pretty sweet. Or, for your tenner, you get 50 anytime any network minutes.

I called them on 08705 678 678, pressed the tarriff options, (one of which is speak to an operator) and spoke to a nice man called Dave who sorted it out in seconds. They will ask you for the serial number printed on your sim, so be prepared.
