W900i Does not mount on Mac OSX |

My W900i does not not mount on Mac osx 10.4.6. It seems that many mac user have the same problem but I have not find any solution so far on the net. It's a software problem since the mac profiler show the W900 connected to the USB port but does not mount it on the desktop. I sure reinstalling my OS will solve the problem but I realy want to try something else.

Has it ever mounted?
I don't know if the W900 has a 'file transfer' mode, but if it does, have you tried it?

it mounted once and never again. on my friends computer running mac osx 10.4.6 like mine it mount properly. when you plug the phone to the USB the phone asks you if you want to use as data mode or phone mode. normaly in data mode the phone should mount like an external hard drive (like a regular pen drive) and if you have a memorystick it should also shows the memoryctick as an hard drive. It's a software issue because I have an external hard drive with mac osx 10.3.9 install, I use it as a rescu boot drive and when I boot on this drive it mount only the memorystick and not the phone memory. they must be a way in OSX to do a software reset of the USB port or someting like this. |
