A special mobile phone number has been auctioned in Qatar for an amazing 2.8 million dollars.
ESATO NEWS
Eight participants at an auction dinner held in Doha by the national telecommunications company Qtel pushed up the stakes for the number 6666666,which was being offered for the first time and Sold for a record 10 million riyals (2.8 million dollars) The identity of the highest bidder was not divulged.

Actually your right...one of those islands would be very nice aswell.
Just imagine though for someone who can fork out 2.8 Million just for a phone number..just how much money must that person really have?

the person that owns this phone no. has probably had to block all people other than the people they know! - to be honest...i'd much rather have a normal phone number....i can still remember it - and....that 2.8 million dollars (!!!!!!!!), could have been spent...ALOT better. and if i had 2.8million dollars to spare...i definately would not have spent it on that! - i've got a pile of free-sim-cards in me cupboard...so buying one...is stupid! - definately when its that over priced! ha!
