I have been using the MMR-60 with my W810i and just enjoy being able to carry my music with me where I go. I only wish SE would redesign their car charger so that you can plug in the FM transmitter to the charger while it charges the phone.

Yes, I concur. It is definitely stereo... loud and clear!

Anybody notice that the SE online store shows the MMR-60 with a place to plug in a charger at the other end. That would be a cool idea too!

yeah that's the only thing they need to improve, that is to include a port for charging the phone.

Hi,

Got one and you're right, charging while using it would be an improvement.

I feel that it's even sucking power when you're not using it (got it fixed on my car holder), can you confirm?

i ordered one the other week and the pic showed a mmr-60 with a fast port input and output, but the one I received was only a fastport output.

Can anyone confirm that there is indeed an MMR-60 that has both fastport input and output?

thanks,

It only has the one connector that connects to the phone.

I just received my MMR-60 yesterday and it does not have the fast port input on the bottom, which I would like. The online retailer I got it from showed pics of an MMR-60 with both input and output ports, so I decided to return it.

Before I did though, I decided to find out if that particular option even exists. After unsuccessfully scouring threads provided by the search feature for a definitive answer, including the 11 page 'MMR-60 discussion,' in which I read that the fastport input on the MMR-60 was a prototype only thing from an older post, I got fed up and called SE. The Customer Service operator told me that, in fact, SE did produce 2 different versions of the MMR-60, one with only an output fast-port connection and one with BOTH input and output. I didn't want to send it back if the one I got was the only version.

I'm undecided if I'll return it, but I probably will. I would wager that the one you can still hook up to a charger would have a stronger signal if had power coursing thru it.

Anyways, now I have a definitive answer and so does Esato.

I hope that this helps someone besides me.

Although I didn't have much luck finding a definitive answer to this particular question, Esato has provided me with countless other answers, as well as steered me in the direction of the answer if it wasn't found here. Great resource to have access to.
