How I aquired it.. I think you gave it to me Dan.. I have no idea where you got it from..
I would donate it.. but i really dont see the point of mindlessly destroying things and im still trying to fundraise for my trip, every penny counts!
I am not sure if you could use the housing, It doesnt seem to be very removable, ie) the batt cover doesnt/wont come off.. but the top of the back of the casing will..
