I read last year that a new software version of T68 which is coming out this quarter includes photo album, means can be able to save more than 1 background picture, but after upgrading my software to R2A, I can only save 1 picture background. |

R2A will not support this. You will have to wait for R2B which will be available in March. |

Will the new software be released all over the world simultaneously? Anyone knows?

No. If your operator has not launched MMS Service, you won't get the upgrade.

Of course person can upgrade MMS cababilities to his/her phone even the operator doesn't support it.
At least I can get upgrade from my mobile phone shop. They don't give a dam what operator I use. |

Has anyone actually been told by SonyEricsson that the upgrade will let you store new background pictures I cant see how unless they increase the phones memory capacity as well. Even if it gives you the option of deleting and replacing the stantard backgound pictures they are basic pics and dont take up much memory at all where as most of the pics we put on our T68's are much larger files |

It will probably depends on how big you pictures going to be. Big size files/pictures can save lesser pix and for small files can save more pix, means the phone memory will automatically adjust. I think they've think of that already. |
