tbh i only like this car in mettalic black and only looks good customised with tints if its black, lexus lights look really shit on dis colour (i have actually seen them, not just saying it) and look like plastic. tbh id spend £5-600 on a paint job 1st then tints and lights. would look really smart just like that. good luck mate dont mean 2 put u down.

Paint job, that's a lot of work & money... If he was gonna do that I'd suggest selling it and buying a black one, or if he's gonna buy a new car just get a Mk3 golf. Or a Mk4 4 if you could stretch to that.

You'd have to spend £0.... 0 minutes and 0 effort to make those look good.

Well.. I don't think he plans on crashing

Although that's the thing... he drives a 307, and his brother keeps telling him french cars are crap.

When i've been in the car with him it completley died (some battery connectors came loose) And the second time the accelerator got stuck down so we did like 60 in a slow zone, pretty scary.

He's selling and buying a golf now.

So the only mods you doing the tints? What about rims?

If i'm being honest, im not too sure about the green colour of the 206. But a car's a car (shouldnt be picky!). I agree lexus lights wud not look good or go wit dis colour at all! If n e fin, leave the lights!

I'd get the black bumper strip sorted out.

I wouldn't tint the windows unless your tinting all of them (the problem tho is ain't it illegal to have the front passenger and drivers windows tinted- or with a really dark tint?) At least tint all windows but lightly, looks ridiculous when u see cars wit just the back ones done heavilly!

If ure gonna get rims u gotta get some chromes! (or at least chrome plated)

@kk how the hell has a 17yr old got 5yrs no claims?! am i missing something?!

@bav - don't forget man that EVERYTHING you do to your car you have to inform the insurance about. Don't think you can get away with it or that you will never crash as i know people who have lost out big time. As a young driver they may well ask for quite a lot more when you tell the mabout your mods and quite a few companies will just say no altogether. Do not bother respraying your car. If you don't like your colour then buy a different car as a good full-respray will knock you back a minimum of £1,000 and will lower the car's resale value. If you pay £500-£600 for a respray it will look wank, and probably bubble and peal in a couple of years. Subtle is the way to go in my opinion. There is nothing funnier than some tit in a rust bucket with a huge loud tin can exhaust, a spoiler twice the size of the car and shinney plastic lexus lights. I would just fully colour code the car and try and find the OEM kit from the gti model or a similar sort of kit. I would put a light tint on your rear lights/fogs/indicators (use a mix of tinting pain and laquer). At the end of the day though it is all down to personal taste and do what YOU like not what others like. I would seriously consider some performance mods to as you don't want to have a car that looks shit quick but gets beaten by everything on the road.
