Whenever i import songs onto my phone the walkman software sorts the tracks back to front on the albums, no matter how i try to sort the playlists the tracks never play in the right order.
Anyone know how to stop this, i use winamp to encode the tracks to mp4 format and copy using a card reader. |

so track 12 is at the top and 1 at the bottom |

I just got a w810i but have been encoding files for a while for use with my IPAQ PDA. I generally use EAC plus LAME to encode and name the files as follows:

I had this problem on my K750. I'm not certain how different the media player is for you, but I worked around this problem by arranging the files on the computer in reverse order, then copying them to the phone (thus the phone receives them in the correct order - if that makes any sense).
A bit of an annoying way of dealing with this, however!

the files are copied from windows in reverse order, are you using a card reader or cable, because as far as i know the files are copied in reverse only through the cable |

im using a card reader to copy the files, i thought it worked off the file names to sort the order out

It's a pain in the w800 too. I thought the phone ordered tracks in the copied order. Mind you, it may even be by the file created date. I've still not managed to get my Pink Floyd album to play properly! |

my w800 was alright when the files were named as above, but this one is being a pain cant listen to mixed dance albums on it when the tracks are in the wrong orders lol |

R.e. W810i (and W800 too?) not listing Albums in the correct order once imported....
I've found that if you create a new Playlist and then add the album via Add Media (Click to 'Mark' the Album, then click 'More', then 'Add') You'll find that it adds all the tracks of the album to the Playlist in the correct order. Ok, you have to create playlists for each of your albums, but this is the quickest way I've found of listing albums in the correct way without having to re-import all the tracks to your phone in reverse order... |

Ok so I've never owned an MP3 player before. My W810 is the first and I'm loving it. However, I've noticed that when I transfer a CD that is a solid-no breaks-mix, well it seperates the tracks during playback with a pause in between. WTF?
Is this normal in all players? |
