I was looking at the new Sony HBH-GV435 and it doesn't appear to have a mic or a boom, per say. In fact, with all the new bluetooth headsets coming out where the mics are so far from the ear, how can the people hear us? How do they work? Do they use the vibrations of your jawbone in order to decipher what you're saying? Does it take the sound of your voice going through your ear? All this new technology is becoming hocus pocus to me.

i thought that the other day so what i done was put my phone (SE T610, with 630 screen) on record sound and then placed the bottom of the phone where the mic is behind my ear and then just said a load of sh*te for a min in a real noisy environment and then played it back and it was as clear as anything

hmmmmmmm

I have also often wondered the same thig.

I use mine for Skype now and never had any problems with sound quality or people being able to hear me etc.

If anyone does know i would be interested in knowing how they do this...yer it is like hocus pocus to me too?!?!?!?
