I have a blue tooth adaptor and it was not cheap and the lady from the mail order company I bought it from said it would work great with my T68i and that it would be easy to set up. Shame it is not there is so much software setting up involved it hardly seems worth it. I have tried pairing it and that worked but I could never transfer any images to the phone which was the hole point for buying the thing and I have posted in here but no one has replied as you can tell I am very cross as I feel I have wasted £90 on something that does not work.

Can anyone help I really need it. As I have said i am using a T68i and am using a TDK bluetooth usb adaptor. Does anyone know any guides that walk you through installation to device communication??? As there are maunals for both but non seem to work???

Thanks in advance

Couzo, I'm using the bluetooth pc card from TDK and have the same problem as you. It turns out that the reason you're not able to sent anything from the phone to the computer is the software. Version 3.0 of the TDK software should support sending from the phone to the computer. The only problem is that TDK don't have a clue when they are going to release it.

I have just installed the Tecom package mentioned in a different thread and it works perfectly with my BWT3020 dongle ... and guess what ... I can now transfer pictures etc from my t68i to my PC.

I downloaded from the Tecom site was called BTW12216.zip (there are a few different versions at http://www.tecom-us.com/asp/support.asp?Navi=SoftwareDownload). This package is Widcomm's version 1.2.2.16 and they seem to have fixed the Object Push Profile.

Anyway, sending images from PC to T68i works great using the SonyEricsson Image editor found on

http://www.sonyericsson.com/

It's free to download. Make sure the T68i is enabled for detection via BT. Once the software is started it should automatically connect to the phone allowing to download pictures.

So can this work if it is a different make of dongle? Right I downloaded the version 1.2.2.16 and still get the same problem as when I use the TDK version of the software??? What version did you use. ALso to get the sony ericsson image editor to recognise the phone does it need to be connected to serial ports or not?? Also when I do a search for what services are available on my phone file transfer is not one of them??? And I have the T68i???

You can't transfer files to the T68 or any other Ericsson phone with the file transfer profile in Bluetooth because the Ericsson phones doesn't support that profile.

You have to use a program that uses a virtual serial port.

Try SendFile from http://www.christersson.org

It works perfectly
