The headphones of my year old k700 have become faulty. I cant hear anything from my right earpiece. Also, the mic which is connected to the right eaerpiece doesnt work(I tried recording). The button on the headphone also doesnt work. I tried cleaning the connectors of both the headphones and mobile but to no avail. So i think the right part is completely dead as nothing is working on the right part. As we all know there are 5 pins on the headphones. Can anyone tell me which ones are for the right part and which ones for the left? I think one or more pins might not connect properly to the connector on the phone.
Please Help!!

I would say the wires have probably snapped. They get quite a work out over a year being tugged and twisted. I'd see if I could borrow some headphones from someone to test. Ultimately, throw the old pair away and buy new ones - the store may let you test 1st.

The head phone wires are connected from the Mic Box only, Juts open the Mic Box and see if there is any dust/carbon or wire just snapped..! You can clean the dust or carbon...but if the wire has snapped then you will need to re-solder it to the circuit..very thin wire...needs a pro..!
