i am a bit new to gprs. i have ap910i with MTNL mumbai trump prepaid connection. i have downloaded their instructions to setup the internet account and the wap account and done so accordingly. i sent a sms "act gprs 5" to 444 (as mentioned in their site for activation). but still when i try to connect message " access denied" or "activation rejected" comes up. isent a complaint also through their website, but nothing as yet.

can somebbody tell me where i am going wrong.

help please.

@yxes - Try to contact your local network and ask for an OTA (over-the-air) - settings (perhaps you got it wrong) . . . Good Luck ! [addsig]

JN - thanks for the reply. but whom do i contact. customer care is only ivr with no human interaction. i dont know what to do.

Usually there is no need to activate GPRS. To check if you got it already open the flip and check on the lower left corner above the signal bars. If you see a blue triangle you got it. Use the stylus and tap on it. It wil tell you GPRS attached or not attached. If it is attached or not attached call your customer service rep or drop by a provider store. They can send you a OTA message to check it also as JN said. Or see also your manual on GPRS.
