Hi all
I finally got Aston to accept me and they have offered me a place for business management.
The thing is they are asking for a ABB. The admin officer i talked to said that if i get BBB they should let me in but now, unless a miricle happens... Most likely i will be getting a BBC
any1 still think they will give me a place  ....
if not, what options may they offer

Its an ugly situation if you miss your grades mate, plus theres tonnes of stress. Well firstly avoid it if you can, so work your f***ing b*ll**ks off especially being so close to exams  - which by the way good luck on 
Anyway if you do miss your grades, then first thing you do when you get your grades is call the uni up and see if your in. If your're not, then try and get in through clearing. If that falls through, then have some back up uni's you want to go to and keep all their clearing numbers cause theres no point doin a course that you dont want and wasting 3 years :s
Most importantly - [U]get your results as early as possible[/U]. Cause the earlier you call your uni for clearing, the more spaces there are available thus the more chance you have of getting a place. My results were released late and just missed my target grades, but by the time i called, all full up at my 1st choice, but had made my insurance so was ok atleast.

jus go to wolves if you dont get into aston, u wont end up with a degree related job neway i bet

Thanks for the advice matey. Im not going to be taking the retake for sociology. im already on a B and i need a 97 out of 105 for the last 2 exams 2 get a A. wtf... and 1 is a synoptic unit... done well in jan with 2 B's
