Hi all,

Had the SE w800 for roughly 10months, great phone. However this morning when I was to take a picture - it 'locks' the phone, so I have to take out the battery, then when I am to turn it on again, the display just flashes with a white/dark background, every 4 secs - and then dims shortly, and flashes again - and the phone is 'useless'

I then update the phone with the update service from SE, it installs the update correctly, but still same problem.

So is there some easy way to reset the software, without losing the data - that is my biggest issue, been a long time since I synched with outlook - so several contacts and calendar posts I would hate to loose.

Maybe there is a way to access the phones data, via the USB cable - when the phone is in flash mode - (the thing where you press 'c' ) so as to pull the data, out of the phone, then master reset - or the like thereafter.

I surely hope someone can help me,

regards,
Nipmads

Sync yr contacts via My Phone Explorer and here read more about DaVinci. Otherwise, visit service center.

MyPhoneExplorer is your best and easiest bet for retrieving user data from your phone.

I would then probably drop it into a Service Centre. Pretty annoying though!
