So I got W800 few days ago. It's cool. A button to the left of JOYSTICK is making strange plastic noise and the LENSE shield on the back seems like its a little up from its base, it also sort of ticks while touched and when writing messages. I was told by someone that it can be repaired under WARRANTY, but the guy from whom I bought says this is a design thing from Sony Ericcson and is there in all of the W800's.

Anyways, it's no big problem, just lil plastic ticks. I will show it to Sony Service Center in other city sometime when I get free. Ok, I have a few questions to ask. I have updated its firmware to latest today with SEUS.

1. The volume is not maximum for hearing songs and MP3 tones etc, so I turn it to full, but when I switch off the phone and back on, the volume is set to medium again. Why? How to fix it?

2. How much is the battery life of others who are using W800, I feel the battery goes very less. It was 83%, I listened to a few Mp3 tones with full volume, a few seconds of a song and it dropped to 76%...I have not checked its stand by, but feels its very less. Any ideas?

3. What screen protector should I get for it? I searched on Google and found this one,
http://www.clarivue.com/howto.asp

There was another one too but I forgot it now.

4. The colours of W800, are they easy to go? Will it get stains and scratches? Or its scratch free? What body cover should I get it for? Please tell a website of it.

That's all for now.

the most convenient and comfortable level of sound is on R1AA008 (previous f/w). You can return to it using DaVinci service.
