Questions about W810 |

Hi all,
I am the proud owner of a K700i and i am planning to upgrade to a W810 very soon. I had some doubts on the K810 which i would request any of you owning a W810 to help me with. Here are the questions.
1. How is the battery life of W810 compared to that of K750. As per specs 810 has lesser talktime than 800/750.
2. In my K700 or even K750 we dont have the option to block incomming calls from any number. Either we block all incomming calls or we create an allow list which has a limit of 10 users. We dont have the simple provision of creating a block list. What happens is in order to block a single user i have to block many others and can accept calls from only 10 people as of now. Is this issue fixed in W810? Now do we have a block list along with the allow list?
3. Heard of some camera flash issue in W810 on this forum. Can you giveme any more details on it?
Thanks,

the batt standby and talktime is in the same as in k or d750i, or w800. of course it depends on the individual usage and net coverage.

The block list has no sense.
if You block somebody, he simply hides his number and then he is allowed and can call you.
The allow list is a great thing, and cannot be spoofed. Well, a bit more work, but once it is set up, it works well.

Most people dont go to the extend of hiding their number since they dont detect that we have bocked them as the phone gives the responce as busy and not as switched off. Moreover most networks in India dont support hiding numbers. Atleast mine dosent.
What ever be the reason a block list is the most useful feature for a user trying to keepout a particular number for a period of time and i have found myself wanting this to keep out certain sales agents for a period of time say 3 or 4 hours and at the same time know wether they have tried to call me up. Mean while i dont want to missout on any other calls comming up and not just be restricted to 10 numbers on the allow list.
Let the allow list be as it is and another option be created for block list. I think this should be a very easy job for SE guys and could be inckuded in a simple firmware update. |
