Hi i use the z800i and i have Cingular. I live in the San Jose area so the 3g network is covered. I also use the 3g simcard. How do i setup the 3g on my phone? I am new at this! Please help!

The problem is that UMTS should operate on 800/1900MHz band in North America. As Z800 is UMTS 2100MHz capable, think that it can only work for you on GSM.

i dont think SE has umts 1900 available yet..

you won't be able to use it. cingular's using UMTS 1900 while your phone has UMTS 2100.

But the U in UMTS stands for universal, what is up with that?
