on imates/qteks where do downloaded files go? |

I just downloaded a file over wi-fi/email on my qtek 8310, but cant find te bloody thing, now my phone keeps saying low on memory and its doin my head in, how do i stop it? lol

its also stopped me opening up my emails on the phone
now I renember why I hated windows mobile so much...

ive searched the phone using file manager and still cant fine it. I deleted the email hopeing that would get rid of it, but the sapce is still taken up. Arrrrrrrrr

Got to start, setting click on system tab and then click on memory and then click on "Running Programs" tab so you can shut down all programs that are running in the back ground that way you can free up space, if that dont work then copy any data that takes alot on to your computer until you solve the problem. |

When inside messaging, click on 'tools' then 'Options' then 'Storage'. There is an option 'Store attachments on storage card'. Is this ticked? If it is then a folder named 'Inbox.mst......' will be on the card. If not, 'My Documents' on the PDA (not card) would be a good place to look for someting similary named. Either that or the root directory. |
