can anyone help me please?

I have been throughy every menu option and can not seem to find the option ANYWHERE to allow the backlight illumination stay on for longer?

When playing games on the phone and stuff the light turns out after about 30 seconds and is really really frustrating.

I am a recently converted nokia user so excuse me if is really obvious, but i just can't find the option.

any help appreciated...thank you

ok,

I have now been through every option possible and it appears this can not be done.

I am a little confused though as my brother is sitting next to me with the SE W800 and it has the option on his handset?

I was under the impression that the W810i was an upgrade of the W800 not a dowgrade and less options.

I guess i will have to put up with the frustration, but what the hell this phone is soooooooooo much better than the Nokia 6630 i have just got rid of.

Well done SE, no more nokia's for me.

Consider me converted

it's on there somewhere, my bro showed me!

he's not with me now but when he is i will ask him and post it when i can get the info.

Actually i have just remembered that when i first got this phone a lot of options were missing. The most important one being there was no option to send an SMS text but only the option to send voice or MMS text. I phoned my service provider (Orange UK) and they sent me a text that updated the options...I will phone them and see if they have another update to include these options...will let you know how i get on peeps.

actually, it's more vibrant and saturated, not necessarily brighter.
